A group of artists created an exhibition on the human trace, its capture, its path in life, to springboard the original footprint of a newborn child just at the moment of birth.

The midwife Joanna Vasilaki, on the occasion of the forms with the soles of the children helped to be born, meditates on the idea of imprints left by humans since birth, in family, social and ecological environment and sowing  this concern in a heterogeneous group of artists, leaving her own imprint on the fertile ground of their creativity.

With the birth of each child in the hospital his or sole reflected and gains in this way his or her the first identity. On this fundamental fact of creation of the first traces of human existence developed an artistic reflection on the progress of human through fingerprints he left in his or her life. Simultaneously with this intervention the  artistic activity itself leaves its own creative path in daily life. The initial material of the impressions creatively reconstructed and acquired a new role in trying to understand ourselves and the public on the progress of the individual and its impact on the environment.

The artistic team has been working for some time the creation of works of the design project, the construction of interactive workshops and a final synthesis of the exhibition with the perspective of the interaction of the exhibition with the audience,  an audience actually directly involved parents and their children as the primary source of the captured traces. Parents with their grown children would now rediscover the crucial moment of their birth through the primary footprint, of their first trace that leaves the person’s identity first time  in the world – the sole –  and will be able to march to the concept of identity in time, but also to create within the framework of workshops similar identities to the original footprints.
In the primary creative team will participate as guests known and established artists who were inspired by the main topic  and they will participate in their own parallel works  and projects from Greece and abroad during the exhibition.
